The Neuropeptide Laboratory has been interested for many years
in how peptide neurotransmitters and hormones are synthesized,
packaged into secretory granules, moved to a site of release,
stored until needed, and then released upon command. These studies
lead into the areas of cell biology, enzymology, molecular biology,
anatomical mapping, control of gene expression, protein-protein
interactions, developmental controls over peptide expression
and action, and the like. See the Research statement and its
links for more details. Or contact us! |
